Server Hardware Upgrade

In order to provide better service and support for our clients, we are upgrading all of our server hardware.  This includes the actual webitor web server, the webitor administration server and the DNS name server.

As a result of this the webitor management interface has been closed down until the transfer has been completed.  We are planning on having the transfer completed over this weekend (7/31 - 8/1) and to have the management interface turned back on by Monday, August 2nd.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but this is in the best interest of all of our clients for stability.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you in the meantime.

Data Outtage - 6/22/10 - 6/25/10

Malware / Data Rollback

There was a database error related to the malware infection that required us to "roll" the database back about 30 days. Any changes made between 9/1/2009 2:00p EST and 10/06/2009 1:00p EST will have been lost.

The error has now been resolved and we have increased both security measures and the backup availability to prevent this from happening in the future.

For more information on the malware problem, please see the the previous news items.  You can view the specific news item [HERE].

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Malware related Webitor/MyBenefits Issues

Over the past week there have been reports from some clients of missing or distorted MyBenefits client data.  These issues appear to be related to a MalWare infection by the name of "Anti Virus 2010".  It seems that it only makes pop-up windows appear showing erroneous virus reports and an occasional "blue-screen" that states something related to "SpyWare" halting the computer.
